CaPAA’s Children’s Choir is a unique choir for children 3rd-9th grade. Under the direction of our talented and experienced conductor and educator, Matthew Rupcich (Mr. Matt), CaPAA’s Children’s Choir will sing repertoire from a diverse landscape including musical theater, folksongs, classical music, rounds, canons, contemporary music and a cappella arrangements. The children will sing in a variety of foreign languages while singing in unison, 2-3-4 part arrangements. Besides learning to sing well and develop their voices, students will learn about different cultures! Through their participation, choir students will develop musicianship, ear-training and sight-reading skills. What builds children’s confidence? SINGING IN A CHOIR with like-minded peers with an experienced, creative and fun director (Mr. Matt) while singing awesome music! Any questions? Contact Sheri Melcher at firstname.lastname@example.org
